Wonderful true-vintage 1970s Hansa-Branta by Stearns women’s winter coat in plush taupe faux fur with a dramatic cream faux-fur-trimmed hood.

This unusual cold-weather coat combines the glamorous look of vintage fur with practical goose-down insulation. It features a full front zipper, attached oversized hood, hidden side pockets, warm knit cuffs and colorful woven trim around the cuffs and lower hem.

The Hansa-Branta “Mark of Excellence” label remains attached, along with the original materials and care label. The coat is labeled Ladies Small.

The original label identifies a modacrylic and acrylic faux-fur pile, acrylic backing, nylon lining, nylon-and-cotton knit cuffs, synthetic hood ruff and goose-down insulation.

This is a faux-fur garment and does not contain real exterior fur.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition with expected signs of age and previous wear. The faux-fur exterior remains plush and presents beautifully.

The light-colored interior lining shows age-related discoloration, wrinkling and wear, including visible stitching and stressed areas near the seams. Please review all photographs carefully, particularly the interior images, as they form an important part of the condition description.
